sunny sunny summer....

ITS GETTING HOT OUT THERE!

Alhamdullilah the summer is finally here,
Beautiful blue skies
Long sunny days
Gorgous scented flowers
Tweeting birds
SubhanAllah
Its simply amazing how we have all the 4 seasons

As wonderful as the summer is, sometimes it gets a bit difficult in selecting comfortable clothing
You feel like wearing short sleeved tops
clothes made of sheer materials
because its hot

Well sisters, this is our Jihad!
Shaytaan will make it very difficult for us in the summer
The hijaab will feel like its too thick
like its suffocating you
like you're going to boil through it

Make the most of it,
"Verily with suffering comes ease"
Dont let the Shayateen win
Strenghthen your imaan
Verily the heat of theNaar will be much greater than that of the earth

Watch what you wear

Remember Allah is the All seer All hearer

May Allah make is easy on all the believing Muslim men and women,
May He give us patience and keep us on the straight path

Ameen

Striving

Its not easy being a practicing muslim in these western countries that we live in.

But by the will of Allah we get by,
And by the will of Allah our imaan either strengthens or weakens.....

Living in the west is a form of Jihaad upon muslims and Jihaad is a very virtuous act in the eyes of Allah.

Jihaad means to struggle for the sake of the Almighty.
Resisting drinking alcohol is a form of Jihaad,
Wearing the correct islamic clothing in non-muslim countries is a form of Jihaad,
Fasting,
Travelling long distance to go to a good masjid,
Controlling your anger,
And the list goes on....

Unfortunately many muslims get drawn into the traps of shaytan, they end up being 'modernist' muslims who listen to music and wear tight clothing and hold functions where there is free mixing and so on and so forth....
It's such a shame, it almost feels like they do this to please the non-muslims, to show them that we are 'normal'. Why should we have to show them anything? We aren't like them! We are blessed because Allah guided us and we should help spread the word of Islam.

Lets not be like those muslims who pray when they feel like or wear hijaab when they feel like.

Lets be like those muslims who fought in for the sake of Allah and for the sake of  Islam and protected the Prophet.

May Allah keep us on the straight path and grant us a place in Jannat.

Ameen .
