What did you call me???

Definition of Hypocrite :
1. A pretense of having a virtuous character, moral or religious beliefs or principles, etc., that one does not really possess.

2. A pretense of having some desirable or publicly approved attitude.

3. An act or instance of hypocrisy.

Lets take a second to think of the intention behond our actions....
Do we do what we do to show others? So they can look at you and say 'Oh MashAllah look at that person, look how well they did ruku' or 'how long they stood for in salaah'

Who are we doing all these good deeds for? For others to see?

Showing off is one of the major sins - its is SHIRK!

There are 3 signs of showing off (riyaa) are:
1) Love of praise
2) Fear of criticism
3) Greed of people's possessions

Clear your intention before you start any action, make sure you do it for the sake of Allah the almighty.

Remember this form of shirk is more hidden than a black ant crawling on a dark stone in a moonless night!

O Allah! We seek refuge in You from associating partners with you while we are aware of it and we seek forgiveness from You for that which we are unaware of

Hand of Fatima

The hand of Fatima also known as Khamsa (خمسة) is Arabic is apparently a ‘favourite Muslim talisman’ according to the wonderful Wikipedia.  It is a talisman that is found in jewellery such as charm bracelets or hung on walls to protect oneself form evil eye.

The talisman is palm shaped, usually has an eye in the middle of and is almost always blue in colour.

Talismans and charms are haram in Islam and we as Muslims should all know this. It is haram to believe that a talisman will protect you or that a rabbit foot will bring you good luck or that if you break a mirror you will get 7 years bad luck or that a four leaf clover will bring good luck or the horse shoe or the knocking on wood will prevent something bad form happening…….

How is that even possible?? How on earth can a rabbits foot give good luck, it’s a rabbits foot for crying out loud, the foot of a dead rabbit. It just doesn’t make sense. And how does the hand of Fatima protect you from evil eye? How?

Watch yourselves of these things, they may seem small and completely insignificant to ones deen but believing in talismans is shirk.

And shirk is the biggest sin and the only sin that Allah doesn’t forgive.

Girlies watchout when you are buying jewellery, these days the charm bracelet is a popular piece of jewellery, sometimes the hand of Fatima is on t-shirts and clothes but in a subtle design
Save yourselves from any form of shirk.

May Allah protect us all form the evils of the shayateen and may he guide us and keep us on the straight path.
Ameen

Celebration

1 Christian celebrated Eid Ul Fitr with love and devotion
1 Hindu celebrated Eid Ul Adha and he sacrificed a a goat for the pleasure of Allah,
1 Jew fasted in the month of Ramadhan,

Have you ever heard such a thing?

Nah....

So whats this then?
Muslims celebrated
"Valentines Day"
Muslims celebrated
"April Fools Day"
Muslims celebrated
"Easter"
Muslims celebrated
"Guy Fawlks Night"
Muslims celebrated
"Christmas"
Muslims celebrated
"New Years Eve"

And we call ourselves muslims?
The Prophet never celebrated un islamic celebration,
he never imitated the kuffar,

Are we true believers of the Prophet (may peace be upon him)??

Think about it.

Happy Birthday To You, Happy Birhtd....

So its time for Miladun Nabi!

Brilliant lets all wear pretty clothes and go to the Masjid to celebrate the Prophets birthday!!

Doesnt that sound at all contradictory to Muslim belief of celebrating birthdays?

No?

Hasn't anyone of those who celebrated Miladun Nabi never stopped to think about that?

How can you celebrate the Prophets birthday if it is not allowed in Islam to celebrate birthdays?

How can you celebrated the Prophets birthday if there is no known date for it?
How can you celebrate the Prophets birthday if He never did?

How can you celebrate the Prophets birthday if his Companions never did,
when the Prophet was alive or after his death?

HOW??

The Messenger of Allah
(may peace and blessings be upon him) said:
“Whoever innovates
something in this matter of ours (Islam) that is not part of it, will
have it rejected.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari and Muslim).

Celebrating the Prophets birthday is an innovation
Stay away form innovation

Lets make Du'a that Allah protects us from innovations and keeps us on the right path
Ameen.
